Dott. Gabriele Gislon

A graduate in Chemistry from the University of Milan, Gabriele Gislon is a qualified Patent and Trademark Attorney before the Italian Patent and Trademark Office (UIBM), European Patent Attorney before the European Patent Office (EPO), European Union Trademark and Design Attorney (EUIPO), and a qualified Patent Litigator before the Unified Patent Court (UPC). He also holds the DESU diploma in “Contentieux des brevets en Europe” from the University of Strasbourg.

He has been active in the Industrial Property consultancy sector since 1986 and is one of the founding partners of Marietti, Gislon e Trupiano, as well as of the firms in partnership with MGT: Torner, Juncosa i Associats and Fabiano, Franke & MGT. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience in drafting and prosecuting Italian and foreign patent applications, preparing Freedom to Operate (FTO), prior art searches, handling oppositions and appeals, European patent litigation and specialised training in Industrial Property. He is particularly involved in patent consultancy for companies in the textile, mechanical, industrial chemicals and automation sectors.

He has been a speaker at numerous courses and seminars in Europe, Argentina and India, and from 2006 to 2017 he collaborated with the Centre d’Études Internationales de la Propriété Intellectuelle (CEIPI) of the University of Strasbourg for the European Patent Litigation course. He is currently a member of the EPO Professional Licensing Examination Committee (EQE-ECIII) as well as the Quality Control Committee (EQE-ECV).
