Italian Trademark and Design Attorney

A graduate in Law from the University of Milan, Nicola Tarantini is a trademark and design attorney before the Italian Patent and Trademark Office (UIBM) and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).

He has been working in the field of Intellectual Property for over 20 years, having gained valuable professional experience within some of the most prestigious Italian firms and at a leading English firm. Since 2017 he has been part of Marietti, Gislon e Trupiano. His activity focuses on strategic advice related to the protection of trademarks and designs at national and international level, with particular expertise in the negotiation of agreements, in the various phases related to the signing of licenses and/or brokering of Intellectual Property titles and in the management of aspects related to their criminal protection.

Author of numerous articles published in Italian and European trade journals – including the Notiziario dell’Ordine dei Consulenti IP (March 2017) – he has organised and delivered conferences and seminars in Italy, the UK, the US and China. He is a member of important international industry associations, including AIPPI, ECTA and LES – Licensing Executives Society.
