Ing. Mauro Saporiti

With a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan, Mauro Saporiti is a patent attorney before the Italian Patent and Trademark Office (UIBM) and before the European Patent Office (EPO), as well as a qualified patent litigator before the Unified Patent Court (UPC). He completed his specialist training in patent law by attending the two-year course in European Patent Law at the CEIPI – Centre d’Études Internationales de la Propriété Intellectuelle of the Université de Strasbourg.

He began his collaboration with Marietti, Gislon e Trupiano in 2011, where he still works as a consultant in Industrial Property. He is particularly involved in drafting and managing Italian and European patent applications, patentability assessments, Freedom to Operate (FTO) drafting and technical support in opposition and litigation proceedings. His main technical areas of interest include mechanics, aeronautics, automotive, textiles, mechanotextiles and control systems.
